Itinerary:
Step 1 – Campanile di San Marco (St. Mark’s bell tower)
Its shape and its golden weathervane are among the most well-known symbols of the city. Here Galileo Galilei showed his telescope to the Doge of Venice in 1609, and from the top of it, the view is undoubtedly stunning. The panorama develops all around you and it’s therefore perfect for panoramic shots. The price of the tickets is only 8 € but it worth it.
Step 2 – Waterfront Riva degli Schiavoni
From this lively large promenade besides San Marco is not hard to obtain a marvelous pictures at any time of the day. The gondolas, the waterfront, the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and the churches of Santa Maria della Salute and Redentore, always present an interesting background, contributing in the realization of fabulous pictures.
Step 3 – Burano
Thanks to its colorful houses and picturesque alleys, the small island of Burano its extremely inspiring and, on this playground, the possibilities for the realization of “stand out” pictures are almost infinite. Capture the colors of the city and its life, but also the reflections in the water or people lazing at the sun. Above all, consider to spend a bit of time trying to catch the perfect shot of the Venetian skyline.
Step 4 – Murano
Like Burano, this small island not far from Venice, has its own character, renowned in the World for its glass blowers. From here it would not be hard to have a nice view over the lagoon landscape, but, creating an impressive picture requires a bit of time, as you have to wait the perfect light; meanwhile you can step into a small, picturesque glass fabric to photograph the ancient tradition of glass manufacturing.
Step 5 – Basilica Santa Maria della Salute
This renowned church is placed in a marvelous position that offers a 180 degrees view on the city, from St. Mark’s Square, through the Grand Canal, up to San Giorgio Maggiore, and it’s therefore a “must ” for your panoramic shots.

- Briefing with the Master regarding lights and settings.
- Shooting: landscape, composition with a person and architectonic elements, outdoor activities and naturalistic subjects.
- Every partecipant is followed by the Master, which will be helpd to improve the tecnique and artistic skills.
