THE LOCATION
Venosta Valley and the Alps
Places of power that exist to the beat of their own drum, a rhythm that is many thousands of years old. Where the idea of slowing down is no empty promise. The cultural region of Venosta Valley and Val Senales in South Tyrol is characterized by its lively customs, traditions and farmers life. The environment in the Upper Venosta Valley is largely characterized by green valleys and high Alpine pastures. In this region nature and culture create their own symbiosis.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT
What will we capture with our cameras?
With a focus on landscape and sport photography, Master Travel Photography will see our masters busy capturing unique natural landscapes and the most breathtaking scenaries of the Dolomites.
Photographic sessions at dusk and dawn, shooting the most panoramic points of the area along with the typical regional food traditions, will provide our photographers with an interesting and challenging task
King Ortler (3,905 m) is the highest mountain in South Tyrol. Imposingly, it keeps watch over the villages of Solda/Sulden, Trafoi, Stelvio/Stilfs, Stilfserjoch pass and Gomagoi. The expansive Stilfserjoch national park can be enjoyed whilst hiking, climbing or during a visit to the Naturatrafoi visitor’s centre. The highest mountain pass in Italy, the Stilfserjoch (Passo Stelvio) pass. Travel the more than 48 serpentine bends that wind their way upward.
