Influences: I found my love for photography before I even had an Instagram or Facebook account. But when I started to get into it professionally it was Chris Burkard who really inspired me to get into adventure and outdoor photography.

When did you start with photography?
I first got into photography when I was travelling, I was away backpacking for 3 years and found a huge love for it. It was 10 years ago on the trip I mentioned above. I have now been a professional for 7 years.
Where does this passion come from?
The passion started from travel. But I have always been an artistic and visual person and I guess photography is just an extension of that.
What do you look for in photography?
For me, it’s all about great light. I search for the best light to create a magical scene.
What does photography mean to you?
It’s a way of showing how beautiful this world is with people. I’m lucky to get to travel a lot and for me, it’s about creating memories for myself and how showing people who haven’t travelled to that place how beautiful it is.
What should photography communicate according to you?
I don’t think every photograph needs to have a message. For me it’s about taking the viewer into that magical place or landscape, so they can enjoy it like I did. As long someone enjoys to look at my work, then I’m happy.
Do you conceive photography as an instinctive or a more planned activity?
I think it’s different for everyone. For me, it’s a bit of both.
What inspires you the most when you travel?
Being outdoors and seeing as many beautiful scenes and places as I can. ?
