Rising in the Venetian lagoon, over more than 100 small islands connected to one another by bridges, the city and its peculiar landscape are recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Venice is divided into six sestieri, or neighborhoods, each with its own personality and its own pleasures. Ranging from Cannaregio which plays host to the largest population living in the city today, to San Polo which is the oldest section of the city, to San Marco, the best known of the sestiere for St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and Santa Croce, Dorsoduro, and Castello.
Venice may require a bit of time to be truly understood and that's also because it invites you to follow slow rhythms that perfectly fit with its sixteenth-century traditions. Each sestiere,, every condition and every glimpse can evoke ancient stories and legends. Water, lights, architecture and folklore: Venice is a true inspiring paradise for a photographer at any level, from amateur to professional. But, if you don't want to go back home with simple, unsatisfying pictures, choose our master photographer! He will share his knowledge with you, and he will help you in trying to find a new or unusual approach while guiding you in shooting the most captured corners in the city.

- Step 2 Photography day
In the morning, meet your Master Photographer and begin your day with a selection of the “must-sees,” including St. Mark's Square, the former political centre of the Venetian Republic. The square contains many famous buildings: the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Marciana Library, the Bell Tower, the Clock Tower, and more. After your visit to St. Mark’s, staying away from the crowds, you’ll walk through the backstreets and the squares to explore the city’s layout: you’ll be cocooned by the silence and intimacy that only a car-free city built to human scale can provide. You will learn to get oriented in this maze-like city, how it feels to live in a place like this, and how today's administrators deal with the maintenance of their huge and fragile heritage.
- Step 3 Photography day
Based on yesterday's experience you will decide today's program with your master photographer. We normally suggest Burano and Murano. Those are "hidden" to many tourists, but really worth a visit. In this workshop we will look at the colourful houses and architectures reflecting on the calm waters of the lagoon, and, walking towards the external shores, we will appreciate the slow movement of the boats and their glare.
- Step 4 Departure
Breakfast and departure on your own. Private transfer available on request. B…
